Who am I?

I’m Kate, a learning and development professional with over 30 years’ experience in delivering training programmes that build brave leaders and create better, more successful, businesses.

Having no idea what I wanted to do when I left school, I spent 15 years in hospitality, working both on the front line as a restaurant manager and behind the scenes as a HR business partner.

Both these roles gave me my passion for developing people. I got huge satisfaction seeing my team develop to head chefs, team leaders and restaurant managers and this passion continues today.

I have since worked in construction, the utilities industry and consumer goods, both in HR and training - always with the desire to give leaders and managers the tools they need to look after their people in the best way possible.

In 2015, the leadership programme I was running won the best leadership development programme, awarded by Investors in People and in 2017 we became a top 100 best company to work for - two of the proudest moments in my career.
